Join CUPE 1287 members in calling on the Niagara Region to support decent work and strong public services.
In ongoing contract negotiations, CUPE 1287 wants the employer to invest in the well-being of workers who deliver these important services. Amidst the sharp rise in the cost of living, workers are struggling financially as 34% have been forced into additional employment to provide for their families. As a result, the quality of public services is threatened as workers leave for better opportunities (or get burnt out and quit).
Please come out to support CUPE 1287 municipal workers who are on the frontlines every day, providing valuable public services to Niagara Region residents. Happening at 6 pm at the Niagara Region Headquarters, 1815 Sir Isaac Brock Way, Thorold, Ontario. #cupe1287 #CUPEOntario #solidarity
